New Zealand bacteriostatic water suppliers, compared
Five sellers on the facts each publishes about itself. Checked 6 October 2026.
A New Zealand search for bacteriostatic water returns a short list: a few sellers in New Zealand, a few overseas stores with a New Zealand-targeted page, and us. Their product pages look alike, so this table puts the things that actually differ side by side: what vial sizes are sold, whether the manufacturer is named, what a single vial costs and in which currency, what that is per millilitre, what postage costs and how long delivery takes, and whether a registered company is shown. Every cell was read from the supplier’s own public pages on 6 October 2026; nothing is inferred, and “not shown on the pages checked” means exactly that.
We are one of the rows. The table does not rank anyone and has no “best” column. If you run one of these stores and a figure is wrong or out of date, email hello@ausbacsupply.com and it will be corrected.

Sellers we could not read
Three more domains come up in a New Zealand search and are not in the table because their pages could not be read on 6 October 2026: nzpeptides.net and peptidesnewzealand.com refused the connection, and nzpeptides.co.nz did not resolve. bacwater.nz showed only a holding page saying a new website is being built. A search snippet is not a supplier’s own page, so none of them is given a row of figures. Trade Me is not a supplier either, but people search it: on 6 October 2026its marketplace searches for “bacteriostatic water”, “bacteriostatic” and “bac water vial” returned no vial of bacteriostatic water.
How to read the table
Manufacturer named. A vial filled and sealed by a pharmaceutical manufacturer carries that manufacturer’s label, lot number and expiry, and is released against a published standard. The New Zealand sellers we read describe their water as a laboratory reagent or as lab prepared and name no manufacturer. That is not necessarily unlabelled water, but it is a question the listing has left you to ask. What the label of a manufacturer presentation should show is covered in how to read a vial label, and the one manufacturer-labelled vial in the table is the subject of our guide to Hospira bacteriostatic water in New Zealand.
Per mL. Vial sizes differ, so the single-vial price is not comparable on its own: a 30 mL vial at NZ$42 and a 10 mL vial at NZ$27 are NZ$1.40 and NZ$2.70 per millilitre. Packs bring the per-vial figure down everywhere; the column uses the single vial, and a pack figure where a seller sells mainly packs, so every row is on the same footing.
Currency. Two of the five list prices in pounds sterling with no New Zealand dollar option. The amount on your card statement is then your bank’s conversion, plus whatever it charges for a foreign-currency transaction. Our New Zealand store prices, charges and refunds in NZD, and the total shown at checkout is the amount charged.
Postage and delivery. This is where a New Zealand seller is ahead of us and we say so: NZ$8 and one to two business days against NZ$18.99 and 4–7 business days. Our postage is one flat charge per order, so it adds less to each vial on a larger order, and the trade-off we offer for the wait is the manufacturer-labelled vial and the 20 and 30 mL sizes that the sellers above do not list. The overseas sellers’ rates are shown only at their checkout.
Importing. An order from any overseas seller, ours included, is a personal import into New Zealand, and you are the importer. What Medsafe publishes about that, and what we found in its classification database, is set out in our New Zealand buying guide. Two of the sellers above state in their own policies that customs may withhold a share of orders.
Registered entity shown. A New Zealand company can be looked up on the Companies Register or by its NZBN, an Australian one on the Australian Business Register, and that entity is the party you have recourse against. A store that shows only a trading name may still be a registered company; it has simply not said so where a buyer can check.
What to check before ordering from any of them
The full checklist is on sourcing and integrity: a sealed presentation with the seal unbroken, a lot number and expiry printed on the vial itself, a named legal entity in a public register, a stated dispatch origin and postage before you pay, a contactable human and a written returns policy, and a seller that states plainly what the product is not. From an overseas seller add the currency you will be charged in and who helps if Customs holds the parcel. For the presentations we stock, the manufacturer’s product information and the standard each is released against are on the documentation page.
