Australian bacteriostatic water suppliers, compared
Seven suppliers on the facts each publishes about itself. Checked 25 September 2026.
Bacteriostatic water is sold online in Australia by a small number of specialist stores. Their product pages look alike, so this table puts the things that actually differ side by side: what vial sizes are sold, whether the manufacturer is named, what a single vial costs and what that is per millilitre, when shipping is free, where orders ship from, and whether a registered company is shown. Every cell was read from the supplier’s own public pages on 25 September 2026; nothing is inferred, and “not shown on the pages checked” means exactly that.

How to read the table
Manufacturer named. A vial filled and sealed by a pharmaceutical manufacturer carries that manufacturer’s label, lot number and expiry, and is released against a published standard. A listing that does not say who made the vial is not necessarily unlabelled water, but it is a question the listing has left you to ask. Per mL. Vial sizes differ, so the single-vial price is not comparable on its own. A 30 mL vial at $39 and a 10 mL vial at $20 are $1.30 and $2.00 per millilitre. Multi-packs and trays bring the per-vial figure down everywhere; the column uses the single vial so every row is on the same footing.
Registered entity shown. An Australian company can be looked up on the Australian Business Register and is the party you have recourse against. A store that shows only a trading name and a contact form may still be a registered company; it has simply not said so where a buyer can check.
Free shipping. Thresholds range from $100 to $200. On a single vial none of them applies, so the delivered price of one vial is the listed price plus that store’s shipping rate, which is not always shown on the product page.
What to check before ordering from any of them
The full checklist is on sourcing and integrity: a sealed manufacturer presentation with the seal unbroken, a lot number and expiry printed on the vial itself, a compendial designation on the label, a named legal entity in a public register, domestic dispatch from a stated location, a contactable human and a written returns policy, and a seller that states plainly what the product is not.
