About BAC Water Kits
A BAC water kit is a set: sealed bacteriostatic water vials with the consumables most orders add to them — a pack of 20 insulin syringes, and in the larger kits alcohol swabs and a 250 mL sharps container. Each kit lists its exact contents and its price against buying the same items separately; the table below shows every kit side by side.
The kits are held in stock in Melbourne. Orders placed before 1 pm Melbourne time on a business day are dispatched the same business day, tracked Australia-wide, with Express Post typically arriving within 1–3 business days. A kit ships as one parcel, which is the practical reason they exist: the vial and the consumables arrive together rather than as two deliveries with two lots of postage.
Two lines of vial are used, and the kit's name says which. Kits built on the manufacturer-labelled presentation carry the original factory-sealed 30 mL vial — bacteriostatic water or bacteriostatic 0.9% sodium chloride — exactly as its manufacturer filled and labelled it. Kits built on our own-label vial carry bacteriostatic water whose warning panel rules out injection, infusion, administration and ingestion. The two are not labelled for the same purposes; each vial's own label governs, and nothing is opened or repacked to build a kit.
Every item in a kit is the same product sold on its own page here, with its own specification: syringe volume, graduation and needle gauge; swab alcohol concentration; container capacity. What any of them is used for, and how, is a matter for the person using them and their qualified healthcare professional. We supply the items and their specifications, not directions for their use. You must be 18 or over to purchase.

Common questions
What is in a BAC water kit?
Sealed bacteriostatic water vials and the consumables bought with them. The two-item kits are two 30 mL vials with a pack of 20 insulin syringes. The four-item kit adds 20 alcohol swabs and a 250 mL sharps container. The restock kit is two 20 mL own-label vials with 60 syringes and 60 swabs. Each kit's page lists its contents exactly.
Are the kits in stock, and how fast do they ship?
They are held in Melbourne, and the status on each card is the live one. Orders placed before 1 pm Melbourne time on a business day leave the same business day, tracked Australia-wide. Express typically arrives within 1–3 business days and Standard within 2–6; estimates are a guide and are not guaranteed.
Is a kit cheaper than buying the items separately?
Yes. Each kit is priced below the same items bought one by one, and its page states the saving. A kit also ships as a single parcel, so there is one postage charge rather than two.
Which syringes come in the kits?
0.5 mL U-100 insulin syringes with 0.01 mL graduations and a fixed 31G × 6 mm needle, sterile, single-use and individually sealed, 20 to a pack. They are the same pack sold on its own page.
Is this a peptide kit?
It contains no peptide and no instructions. It is a set of sealed diluent vials and sterile consumables, sold as labelled. People search for these items together under several names; what a kit is used with, and how, is decided by that product's own information and a qualified healthcare professional, not by the kit.
What is the difference between the Hospira kits and the own-label kits?
The vial. The manufacturer-labelled kits carry the original factory-sealed Hospira 30 mL presentation, labelled Bacteriostatic Water for Injection USP or Bacteriostatic 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection USP. The own-label kits carry Aus BAC Supply bacteriostatic water, whose label states that it is not for injection, infusion, administration or ingestion. They are not interchangeable; each vial's label governs.
Do I need a prescription to order a kit?
We do not require one. The vials and consumables are sold sealed and as labelled. What a diluent is used with may itself be a prescription medicine, and that medicine's preparation and use belong with its prescriber, pharmacist and product information.
